For Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), the unit can accommodate microtiter plates such as Waters Oasis® Elution Plates, 3M Empore® 96 Well Plates, or any other extraction plate using similar formatting. Quadra4 can pipette mid to non-polar solvents and aqueous solutions, all in the same workflow. The fixed carriage head can support a broad volume range from 5uL to 450uL per dispense. The Quadra4 SPE can be applied in either positive or negative pressure vacuum, pulling the sample through the media in the SPE plate. It is the only liquid handling workstation that delivers a programmable positive pressure and vacuum-level sorbent-bed preparation. The SPE process drives these samples through the media by forced air or nitrogen. This allows for the ultimate in method development and extraction efficiency to maximize and deliver consistent results rapidly. In addition, it enables the highest possible concentration with zero cross contamination.
When changing methods, no recalibration is required with Tomtec’s fixed 24, 96, or 384 tip pipetting heads, making Quadra4 easier to operate than systems five-times its price.
With the addition of the dual plate stacker, it is possible to program a fully walk-away workflow in as little as 30” of bench space. At the completion of the SPE workflow, our Automated Plate Sealer will hermetically seal the assay for incubation and/or storage.
The Quadra4’s software, with optional 21CFR11 toolkit, enables use in both non-regulated and regulated environments. Optional automated plate stackers provide true walk-away high-throughput plate prep.
- The SPE Vacuum Trap and Vacuum Box provides:
- For SPE, microtiter plates such as Waters Oasis® Elution Plates or 3M Empore® 96 Well Plats, or any other extraction plate that uses similar formatting, Quadra4 can pipette mid to non-polar solvents and aqueous solutions.
- Program a complete walk-away SPE workflow in as little as 30” of bench space at one quarter the cost of competitive solutions.
- Provides both positive and negative pressure, accurate sample transfers, precise standards additions, sample dilutions, and magnetic bead cleanup.
