Streamlined OEM Process

We offer a Five Step Process for Quickly Assessing Your Needs and Manufacturing a Solution.

1. Feasibility Analysis

Hudson hardware and software engineers will assess the software and hardware requirements for your solution and identify the specific design or feature changes, if any, which may be required. You may require an instrumentation only solution, or want to add process control, custom GUIs, sales, installation and support.
Hudson’s wide array of automation tools, including robot arms, track systems, dispensers, washers, robotic pipettors, vacuum nests and accessories, can be run from your own instrument software.

2. Orientation

We will typically conduct a 2-day introductory course at our facilities to familiarize selected OEM personnel with the relevant Hudson products, to include:

  • Product usage and maintenance
  • Software and programming training
  • Application integration

3. Development Foundation

Site visit by key Hudson developers to OEM’s facility to learn OEM’s process and marketing message. This enables Hudson to incorporate the OEM’s branding and critical customer needs into the developed software and the user interfaces needed from Hudson.

4. Hardware and Software Development

This phase is the portion where Hudson developers work closely with their OEM counterparts to produce the specific versions of product and software required by the OEM.

5. System Training

The typical training program would involve several OEM personnel for 3 to 4 days at Hudson to learn:

  • Work cell setup and operation
  • Software structure and support
  • Work cell maintenance and troubleshooting
