Bioautomation MerMade Integration
Hudson has developed a multi-functional software integration for the BioAutomation MerMade to take full advantage of automated oligo synthesis. This SoftLinx plugin provides the following features:
- Downloads oligo formulations from a local file or via internet
- Converts this formulation information into specific instructions for the MerMade
- Provides operator prompts to insure that the required materials are present
- Controls deprotection and purification post-processing steps
Hudson offers two fully automated solution to deprotection of oligos. The most efficient solution involves controlling the deprotection features of an automated oligo synthesizer. Alternatively, we support various deprotection protocols with our liquid handling instruments.
Hudson has succeeded in automating the gene assembly process, the key first step of a typical synthetic biology pipeline. We have gene assembly solutions that can be integrated with commercial automated oligo synthesizers, as well as subsequent de-protection and purification. In addition, we can pool oligos and carry them through the complete process to form functioning genes and complete genomes, such as viruses.
